I’m D. L. Smith. I write dark M/M romance, psychological romance, and stories shaped by obsession, loyalty that turns dangerous, and people who want each other more than they want to be good. The books are intimate, explicit when they need to be, and built around characters who make the wrong choice on purpose.
I care less about perfect heroes than about what someone will ruin to keep the person they shouldn’t have. That same interest in power, faith, and what people worship when they’re desperate also lives in my other work.
I also shoot, travel, and collect old stories. Mythology, religion, and history still feed the work. I publish independently. More books are coming.
